Saints vs. Packers Money Line

Below are the latest money lines for the Green Bay Packers vs. New Orleans Saints game on September 8th, 2011 in Green Bay (week 1).

Right now, the Green Bay Packers are favored by 4.5 points. They’re playing at home, and the reigning Super Bowl Champions of course. The spread was 5 a few days ago, but currently trending down. The current money line at Sports Interaction is +190 for the Saints, and -220 for the Packers. I like +190 for the Saints right now, but will have to revisit this bet as we get closer to game time.

If case you’ve been living under a rock, Reggie Bush is out, and Darren Sproles is in. Bush is now a Miami Dolphin, replaced by the tough little sob from San Diego. This was a great move by New Orleans, getting a similar type of player with more durability. This trade isn’t likely to change the Saints at Packers money line, but it will be fun to see how often the Saints use Sproles during the game. Like Bush, he’ll play decoy to disrupt the Packers defense, but how often they’ll actually go to him remains to be seen. Mark Ingram is likely to start, but the Saints could also use Pierre Thomas more in this game. The Packers will expect him to get fewer touches, giving the Saints a chance to catch the Packers defense off-guard.

Bodog hasn’t posted any of their lines yet, but this page will update when they become available.
