Latest Falcons at Giants Betting Lines

Atlanta Falcons vs. NY Giants

From the time the lines opened to the time of this writing (Friday @ 12:15 am ET), the Falcons vs. Giants betting lines have been stagnant at all of the best online sportsbooks. The spread has been 3 points all week, with slight adjustments in prices. I suspect we’ll start seeing more significant movement beginning on Saturday.

Right now, the NY Giants are favored by 3 points on the spread, and -150 to -153 on the money line. The over/under is now 47.5 (-110) on either side, up from 47 points earlier in the week. While we may not have time to update this written content, the lines in the chart above will be kept up-to-date. Best Giants Point Spread: -3 (Even) at BetOnline.com

This Falcons/Giants Wild Card matchup is full of stud playmakers on both offenses and defenses. If you’re looking for exciting plays, this game and the Lions vs. Saints game are the ones to watch.

QB’s Eli Manning and Matt Ryan had very similar numbers during the regular season, but Manning has the experience and Super Bowl ring to prove he can get it done. While every playoff game is huge, Manning gets the edge for experience.

The New York Giants have a terrible running game, and the Falcons have one of the best rushing defenses in the NFL. Eli Manning will be looking for Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks all day long, and both of them could have huge days. TE Jake Ballard had a full practice on Friday and expects to be 100% on Sunday. I don’t see the running game having much of an impact, as the Giants won’t be able to fool the Falcons into thinking they can be effective on the ground. The only reason the Giants will bother handing it off is to try to give their receivers an extra step – which isn’t likely to work either. In the second half we could see the Giants completely give up on the run, with Manning slinging it play after play.

Overall, the Falcons have a much better defense than the Giants, and they allow 3.1 fewer points per game. The Falcons offense scored .5 points more than the Giants, which is an insignificant number of course. The turnover ratio is also very close, with the Falcons at +8 and the Giants +7 on the season. There are no numbers here that make any major impact on paper.

As they say, the game isn’t played on paper, and I think the Giants win this home game. The Falcons should keep it close, but I like Manning’s experience in this one. I also like how Victor Cruz has come along this year, and I expect that combo to have a major role in a Giants win.

The Falcons have become slightly less of an underdog over the last 24 hours, but I’m not sure that will last. Once the New York fans start getting their bets in, I suspect we could see the line move closer to -4 by game time.

This is a close one, but I’m taking the NY Giants to win this, and I like them for a field goal. Although the spread is exactly 3 right now, we can get them -3 (Even) at BetOnline. I’m hoping for a push at worst.

Falcons @ Giants Money Line Bets

The Falcons vs. Giants money line hasn’t budged at BetOnline since they opened. At JustBet, the Falcons opened at +130, but they’re up to +133 right now. Here are the best Falcons @ Giants money lines heading into Saturday:

Best Falcons Money Line: +133 at JustBet.cx

Best Giants Money Line: -150 at BetOnline.com

Like I said above, I like the New York Giants to win this outright. I’d rather see the money at something like -135 or -140, but I don’t think we will. At -150, I’m not sure we’re getting enough value on the Giants money line. With that said, I don’t see value in +133 for the Falcons either. If the Falcons money line moves closer to +150 or +155, I might make this bet.

Falcons vs. Giants Over/Under Betting Odds

The Falcons vs. Giants over/under opened at 47 (-110) on both sides, at all of our favorite online sportsbooks. It’s up to 47.5 now, and still (-110) on both sides. I’m expecting the NY Giants to be passing all day long, and they have playmakers that can find the end zone. If they pull out an early lead, the Falcons might rely more heavily on their passing game as well. This could be a higher scoring game than many are predicting, and I’m predicting a scoring range of 27-21 to 31-24.

Since my entire scoring range exceeds the current Falcons vs. Giants over/under, I’m taking the over of 47.5 (-110) at BetOnline.com. If you prefer the under, you’ll get 47.5 (-110) at all three of our recommended sportsbooks.
