Week 1 Bears vs. Falcons Point Spread

At the time this article is being written, we’re still weeks before the 2011 – 2012 NFL regular season starts. The latest point spread at Sports Interaction is -2.5 (-120) for the Falcons, and +2.5 (Even) for the Bears. Although the Falcons are on the road, I think they’re going to cover the spread. We’ll know more after preseason is done, but at this point, that’s what I’m thinking.

Falcons at Bears Money Line Bets

The content below was written early, before the lines began to change. We’ll update this information when we get closer to game time.

The Falcons vs Bears money line hasn’t been posted by any of our favorite online sportsbooks yet. With a point spread of just 1.5, the money line will be close for either side, with the Falcons as the favorite of course. As mentioned above, I expect the Falcons to win this game by 3, so I’d be taking them on the money line unless the odds change and value can be had on the Bears. Once the money lines for this game have been posted, we’ll update this page with more analysis and our free picks.

Atlanta Falcons at Chicago Bears Over/Under Betting

The current over/under for the Falcons/Bears game in week 1 is 40.5 (-110 on either side) at Sportsinteraction.com. Being the first game of the season, I prefer the under here, expecting the defenses to be more game-ready than the offenses. I’m expecting a game in the 21-17 area, so I’ll be betting the under.

The tricky part of this is, which Jay Cutler will show up? I don’t expect him to be as sharp this early in the season as will be in week 3+, but Ryan could be ready to go. The Falcons should get their points, and if their defense can create some pressure, Cutler could have a bad day. That’s what I’m relying on for my Falcons vs. Bears over/under bet.
